Rødhåd at Klockworks present Photon
The Black Dog
One of our highlights from last year was Klockwork’s celebration of techno at Printworks under their PHOTON guise. It’s with great excitement we welcome Ben Klock and a unique programme of the scene’s best to return to the venue on Sunday 1st April for a Bank Holiday special.
Representing the label’s techno philosophy, the line-up spans from the global heavyweights to the scene’s future talents. With head of the imprint Ben Klock at the top, Dystopian’s Rødhåd, Hush boss DVS1 and British legend Surgeon follows. DJ Nobu brings a new edge to this billing alongside Klockworks staple Etapp Kyle.
Over on the Ambient Floor, it’s a pleasure to welcome electronic pioneers The Black Dog to a line-up which also features a DJ set from Dominick Fernow AKA Prurient, who recently revisited his ambient alias, Rainforest Spiritual Enslavement… Sigha and Alekzandra complete this billing.
The concept puts emphasis on the notion of a photon, to present a multi-sensory experience placing attention on the marriage between sound, light and architecture and how these elements combined influence our experience. Printworks London was chosen as the location for the launch as unique, vast, industrial spaces are a focal point for the play of light.
