We’re back for 2018 with a bundle of our current favourite artists. After Modular Gang’s 7 hour synth exploration in the tent last November, we couldn’t wait to invite the gang back to see where an extended journey could take us. Having been riveted by Bufiman’s (aka Jan Schulte, aka Wolf Müller) latest ‘Peace Moves’ EP and the gorgeous ‘Tropical Drums of Deutschland’, we are thrilled to have the Salon des Amateurs resident and Dekmantel regular with what will no doubt be an unusual and fun set of swampy late night disco and house. Opening up the same floor will be Redlight Radio show host and ‘Lullabies for Insomniacs’ founder: Izabel. Enthralled and bewitched by her many dreamy mixes and selections for her label, we can’t wait to hear what eclectic pieces she has in store for us. Closing things up will be our beloved resident, with her first gig back in Europe after an extended tour of her home, Australia: Kate Miller. While things are getting dreamy and groovy on the Lobby floor, the MDF will be taking a more serious turn.

The release of Karen Gwyer’s shimmeringly odd and densely textured techno album ‘Rembo’ entranced us and we’re delighted to announce she will be performing a highly improvised live set on the night. Warming up for the floor is Uchi, whose sets are as unpredictable as they are cutting-edge. From slamming techno to 170bpm jungle, right down to ambient drone, who knows what the rising star is capable of. Later on in the night, Objekt will be taking over the MDF floor. An artist who has risen, through numerous outstanding releases of IDM techno and beyond to become undoubtedly one of today’s most important figures in the electronic music scene. His DJ sets are impeccable, from the technique to the selections, Objekt is a truly inspiring DJ. Closing out the floor is Swedish techno queen, Zodiac44 label head and most recently Idle Hands affiliate: Johanna Knutsson. Her warm, bleepy tales of nordic fairies and acid lines from space will accompany us perfectly through the night and keep us oscillating, well into the morning.
